  1. Well, I've rebuilt my clone of Mangoszero with the aiplayerbot option configured and, lo and behold, the player bots appear as documented. Which brings me to my questions. I've looked through the forums (both here and external to Mangos) and have been unsuccessful. So, here goes: Can bots be commanded to cast specific spells? Related to #1, the documentation makes mention of triggers - events to which bots can be set to respond. So, how do I setup a trigger? For example, is it possible to set triggers such that when the tank's health drops below 80% my healbot will cast lesser heal. But, when it drops below 60% I'd like healbot to cast lesser heal followed immediately by a renew. You get the picture. After I command my party to grind, how do I stop them?   2. Hello! I've asked this in discord as well, but I figured I could bring it into here (just in case in the future someone else may have this same problem.) So, I'm running a VM with a fresh install of centOS 7 (minimal) with mangoszero. I've tried to connect via my client (5875), but I keep instantly getting "Disconnected from server" Here is what I have tried: Setting LogLevel to 3 - Result: Nothing new! See: https://i.imgur.com/ZDFqy2I.png Ran under (Windows 7, debian 8, debian 9, openSuSE: Tumbleweed) - Result: It works under Windows 7! But I have the same issue with everything else. (Note: I don't want to use windows 7, I use Linux as much as possible.) Compared the SQL data with Win7 - Nothing. Added a 2nd Realm - This didn't work, but I saw it worked for some people. Opened Ports: Just tried, still nothing. Cheers! P.S. I'll be still trying at this when I have time, and updating as needed.
  3. Using the assumption that setting an account to gmlevel 4 cannot be done in-game but requires the mangos console, I still failed. For example, when issuing the following command I get the error message "incorrect values". mangos>account create Master Mzplxzit04? 0 // This creates an account, Master, with account Id 10 mangos>account set gmlevel 10 4 Incorrect values. mangos> Can someone point me in the right direction? Will this ultimately require changing the value in the db directly using SQL? Thanks, in advance Michael
  4. Hi, I have installed the zero server and it's working well (thanks for the great effort making this). But now i've been thinking that when i'm 60 (and done the most of the things) i want to go to tbc. Is it easy to upgrade to mangos one server (and possible after that two server) without losing all the progress on the characters? I don't want to go beyond WotLK because it changes to much in the wow universe. But if it is not possible i better make a two server before i get to play alot Thanks in advance Lenwe606

  6. hi guys, i am a super huge noob to this, so a little backstory: had mangos server on one PC, have now moved onto VM, gettin realmlist loop. I have looked in the reamlist under realmd and it is set to the outside facing IP under both, I have made firewall exceptions 8085 3724 and 3306, and i still keep getting it. Is there anywhere else I could have misinformation from copying from the machine to VM? Any help would be great!
  7. Just curious, I have done maybe 10 installs using the ./getmangos.sh script. The install is flawless, AHbot works fine but never the playerbots. I have enabled it in the install, I have moved the conf script and ran it as enabled 0 (windows install instruction) and enabled 1. I keep getting .bot no command found. Any insight would be appreciated. If I have to run the server without playerbots I am fine with that, but I would like to be able to figure out what I am doing wrong? Thanks for any help

I was unable to rebuild the project (I'm using Visual Studio 14 which I used successfully the first time) because the .sln file (.\mangoszero\serverZero_build\MaNGOS.sln) has disappeared from the project tree. So, having built the project earlier, I went back and tried to generate the build configuration using MaNGOS_EasyBuild_Mangos.exe. Alas, no joy - it fails to generate the build options and issues the following message: CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:20 (project) Failed to run MSBuild command: MSBuild.exe to get the value of VCTargetsPath: The system cannot find the file specified. So, before I start tromping through the build tree (e.g., there are approx 30 CMakeLists.txt) and trying to figure this out, I thought I'd post this in the [likely] event I've missed something simple. Thanks, in advance. P.S. I very well may have corrupted a file somewhere because since acquiring the sources, I've spending a lot of time looking and tracing through the various source and build files.
  11. Hi all. I have found the .wp add command however it seems this is only saved in memory seeing as the waypoints appear to be gone as soon as I restart the server. The only other place that I could find that would make sense naming wise to store this info is in the script_waypoint table, but that doesn't seem to be the case. So the question is, if I want to permanently store a patrol path for a unit, where do I do it?

  17. Gist of problem: Hunter Survival talent 'Entrapment' procs off ANY source of damage over time, and does not trigger from Frost Trap as it should. Found/tested on: Covenant WoW - Using World DB: Version: 21, Structure: 14, Content: 67 Entrapment 5/5: Gives your Immolation Trap, Frost Trap, and Explosive Trap a 25% chance to entrap the target, preventing them from moving for 5 sec. What does work: Immolation Trap and Explosive Trap both trigger the talent correctly, allowing multiple entrapments per damage over time effect. Entrapment is not affected by diminishing returns on Zero and this is correct as diminishing returns were not added to the talent until Burning Crusade: Source What does not work: Frost Trap does not trigger Entrapment at all, and it should be able to trigger entrapment multiple times with a chance each 'pulse' if the enemy stays within the frost AoE. What is working incorrectly: Entrapment is triggering off ANY source of damage over time including hunter stings, and trinkets such as 'Chained Essence of Eranikus'.   19. Hi all and thank you in advance for taking the time to read my post. I have managed to build mangoszero and run ExtractResources.sh on windows via git-bash. From what I can see it works just fine, there were no errors reported and it managed to create 3 folders and populate them: 1. mmap 2. vmap 3. map Took a while to finish but it seamed to have finished without any problems. From what I can tell anyway. Now I ve been looking at the mangos code from git and I am trying to figure out how are the mmap used to generate paths from one point to another with recast&detour Could I ask someone to explain this to me. Or at least point me in the right direction. I have all the code built and in visual studio 15 2017 Once again thank you for your time.
  20. Yes, you've all heard it before. When enabling crossfaction on mangos zero, one faction can't heal the other in a different group of the raid. If it has been solved before, please point me in that direction! Thanks in advance. Note: Since it's possible inside a party, can't we move that function to raid?
  21. I'm not a programmer and forgive me if this is in the wrong spot (forum wise) but suddenly getmangos.sh had stopped working for me. I've been building Mangos Zero over and over again trying to teach myself and it starting giving a an error at line 861 and not compiling. In that section line it calls CMAKE and at the end of the line (command? -- not a programmer) it had - DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX="$INSTPATH". That variable was the only one in the line with quotes so I removed them and now it builds on CENTOS 7. So this is just an fyi -- unless they are suppose to be there and then just ignore this post. =)

Server Version : 21014 Database Version : Rel21.14.2 Supporting Clients : 1.12.x Builds : 5875 6005 6141 Module Status - Eluna : Enabled Warden : Disabled ScriptDev3 (SD3) : Enabled Remote Access (RA) : Disabled When I check the installation script I don't see any information about playerbot. https://github.com/mangoszero/server/blob/master/linux/getmangos.sh However, it seems to be in the sources : https://github.com/mangoszero/server/tree/master/src/modules/Bots/playerbot Anyone able to tell me how to install Mangos Zero with playerbot support?   24. Hello, So I went to Loch Modan as a Horde character and the Mountainers there didn't loot anything, but they should loot silk cloth, a lot of it. Tried in Duskwood on The Night Watch mobs, and no loot as well. I'm missing something or ? Any help would be welcome. Regards, Troynono.
  25. Hey I have noticed two major issues in the current mangos zero core. First Issue: When creatures of the same faction run near each other while in combat with a player that pulled them, they do not aggro the other creatures that they run past when they should. Second Issue: If the Path for the creature is too long to get to the player it will instantly reset, It should run to the player no matter how long the path is if you are within a dungeon instance. I will try to figure out the first issue myself, but if you have any tips would be great ^_^. as for the second issue I may need some guidance, where is this limit applied in the source code so I can remove it? It causes evade bugs with certain encounters so would be nice to get rid of it. , Thanks in advance <3
