  1. Running into an issue when I try to build. I am following this guide: Noticed when it was grabbing packages like ACE and what not from .de, it would fail and skip. However, the install would push forward. I am assuming it found what it needed, but it gave more errors. Then I followed this guide: Finally, was able to get the build up to 97%, but it fails with finding -lACE. Does anyone have any tips?   2. hey all i ahve frechly pulled source on mangos one, not costum stuff nothing deleted everything and installed the db 2 times. but when i try to amke a character ingame i get this serror was not there before something it broke. what to do?   7. hi all. i try to make a 2.4.3 server. i have pulled everything correct and compiled it all worked out good. i did try to reinstall windows aswell so now im on 7, first error was "libmysql.dll" but it was no problem i just pick one that i had around for other older servers. now i get: (0xc000007b) error code nothing more... i use visual c++ 2013, for i thought 2015 did make the error but well the error still stand. its the same error i did get on windows 10. does anyone know how to get around it? i use mangosone/server -b develop21 i know it works for i have used it before, if something have get updated and make it not working then it can explain this problem- thanks for the all help i can get... sorry for asking so much but i want to play areound on servers and im not all doing it for so long so when i get intressted i get problems... many i know how to deal with, but this is so diffrent. maybe i just miss some programs i dont know i dont think so. the easybuild checks out good. only get red X on 32-bit MySQL.

  9. This is with the most recent pull from git, encountered this when setting up a new server. Had set up a server a week or two ago and databases installed fine, same configs, same OS (windows), etc. Creating Character Database character0 ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 1: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '∩╗┐ /*!40101 SET @[email protected]@CHARACTER_SET_CLIENT */' at line 1 Creating Realm Database realmd ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 1: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '∩╗┐ /*!40101 SET @[email protected]@CHARACTER_SET_CLIENT */' at line 1 The World database creates fine. As far as I can tell the syntax looks ok in the actual files. Using MySQL server 5.6, happens in Win7/10/2008R2. Did a bit of troubleshooting, MySQL 5.5, 5.6, and 5.7 give the same error, editing the database full install file in notepad and attempting to remove any possible invisible characters also did not work. Also tried manually loading the database in HeidiSQL and got the same error @ line 1. Tried in a clean VM and got the same results. Following the temp compile guide a few threads down.
  10. Hello, for a few days now I have been trying to get the database files imported, but there are always errors no matter what I try. I am using MySQL and SQLyog for the importing of the sql files. I've tried running InstallDatabases.bat from the command prompt. It will fill the databae up untill I get these messages: ERROR 1031 <HY000> at line 1510: Table storage engine for 'game_event_status' doesn't have this option. ERROR 1031 <HY000> at line 25: Table storage engine for 'realm_db_version' doesn't have this option. ERROR 1146 <42S02> at line 1: Table 'realmd.realmlist' doesn't exist. I also tried manually importing the Full DB files, the updates and setups, in any thinkable order, but I just keep getting these errors. I'm not new to setting up a webserver with sql etc but this is getting the better of me. I don't even know if I have the latest files, as I can't seem to find out how to check that. I've been downloading files using: git clone --recursive http://github.com/mangosone/server (etc) I found an old 2.4.3 repack that works and having fun playing on it, but I would really like to run the most updated one as this repack is probably years old. Help!

what ScriptDev2 was for at the time, so I tried to continue without it. I installed the mysql database (github.com/mangosthree/database) and extracted the dbc, maps, and vmaps from my WoW installation. At first everything seemed to be working good. I was able to complete a few quests, kill creatures and loot from them, but then when I tried the Dranei "Rescue the Survivors" quest I found that I couldn't complete it. After doing some searching I figured out that this was due to ScriptDev2 not working. After continuing to fail at compiling it I submitted an issue at github.com/scriptdev2, only to be told that they don't support MangosThree and only support CMangos. So I tried CMangos. Everything compiles correctly, but I can't seem to get a working database for it. If I try it with UDB-434, I can't find any creatures at all to kill, nor does there seem to be any NPCs to get quests from. I get tons of errors in DBErrors.txt. If I install YTDB, I have creatures and NPCs, but whenever I kill a creature I can't seem to loot it. I also get lots of DBErrors that I'm sure are part of the cause. Unfortunately UDB-434's forums (UDB.no-ip.org) are down, and YTDB's forums (YTDB.ru) are in Russian. And that's where I am. Stuck. With MangosThree I can't get ScriptDev2 to compile, and with CMangos I can't get a database to work right. Can somebody please help me out? I used to have no problems running a TBC private server back before the Mangos/CMangos split.
  13. Hello everyone, Let me start off by saying thank you for all the hard work that I see everyone has put into this. I am a novice developer with mainly java experience, however I look forward to plugging into this project and helping however I can. I have started studying up on c++ (figure it will help with starting to write code in NeuronC which is based of ANSI C @ work) and LUA I have managed to get mangosZero compiled and up and seemingly running with no errors, however I have yet to actually be able to log in to the world. I am running debian sid 64bit. # mysql --version mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.39, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64) using readline 6.3 https://www.getmangos.eu/mangos/file-554-mangos-server-0-18-0-rev2057-x32-september-2014-a-mangosone_2057_x32_sept2014-zip&v=39589924528516.63 I am setting up the databases using phpmyadmin and got an error importing mangos_full_db.sql. I got past needing to change limits in my php.ini file and seemingly successfully did the import, but I am getting the following error: ---- MySQL said: Documentation #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'SET @[email protected]@CHARACTER_SET_RESULTS */; /*!40101 SET @OLD_CO' at line 21 ---- Of course I would like to get some direction on how to fix this, or know how important it is. I am not well versed in sql databases, though I can learn. I am wondering if I should just be using a different version of mysql? I can set up a completely independent machine on which to do it if I need.

Dear Mangos. me and my friend are currently trying to host multiple private server one using trinity and the other using Mangoz and as we are currently encountering some porblems with account servers overlapping, and we would like to inquire if it is indeed is possible to have both servers running at the same time.
