  1. Hello everyone I wanted to give an update on my most recent working within the Dragonblight before I go away on my much needed vacation. My most recent endeavour to correct the spawn locations of the many Arctic Hare has been a very slow and daunting one. What started in the Dragonblight spilled into the Borean Tundra and Zul'Drak. But I am happy to say that this portion is about 75% complete. In addition to the ever troublesome dust bunn..I mean Arctic Hare, I have poked around with three other things * Smoldering Skeletons now properly display their aura and have had their cosmetic aura added. * Golluck Rockfist of Wyrmrest Temple now has a patrol path * Add Missing Wyrmrest Protector as well as removed a few that should not be there I hope you all enjoyed the update and I will see you all next week
  2. Although it has only been one day from my opening post, I have been working on the Arctic grizzly and Arctic cubs for about two weeks now. I am happy to say 647 waypoints with a total of 776 lines later, they now are working correctly. (As of this writing they still require some scripting) The Arctic Grizzly and cubs now have the following corrections Spawn locations. Way-points. Spawn Locations. Linking - slave/master/flags. 21 duplicates removed between the two. (Moved)

    Dragonblight Rework

    Hello everyone, I thought the work I have been doing on Dragonblight would be a great opportunity to start my first blog. This is the largest and most complex undertaking I have ever taken on here at MaNGOS and wanted you all to be a part of its progress. As a side note and something I would like every reader to keep in mind is that the when I speak of "progress" or "percent completed" it is based on the personal end goals I set for myself when the thought of doing an overhaul on the zone first came to be. So sit back and enjoy some cake.   4. hi everyone i have a question about sd3 script,please teach me~~: ) i saw those sd3 scripts in ./server/src/modules/SD3/scripts . when i easybuild the src,it generate a dir named 'serverTwo_build', and i can't find those sd3 scripts in '.\serverTwo_build\src\modules\SD3' so it confused me, this serverTwo_build if for VS2010 to complie to exe file.how can i fix some boss's bug by program that boss's script in VS2010 if 'serverTwo_build' has no sd3 script? so basicly tell me how can i develop sd3 script,and debug it . i really want to make Dungen's bosses move and behave right . thanks i
  5. Okay so i am new to the mangos community, Honestly i really want a MOP LAN server. But, i cant seem to find enough use-able information to understand how to compile and build without using easybuild and the ready to compiled directorys. but, in my quest for current playable, database ect... i am fairly competent at getting git repository's and starting to understand database editing but... none the less... I have been trying one by one recompiling and recompiling. So far... i have successfully gotten all 3 different database compiles to work for approximately one night. turn the computers off, wake up go to work, come home boot everything up and... sometimes it will work for the first login of the day.. sometimes not. it doesnt matter which version/client combo i have been using it hangs at retrieving characters. sometimes after a 20+ minute wait it will load the toons but hang on loading into the server for another hour... the ip's are routed to my local ip. databases and sql installed with mangos (Zero,One,Two all seprately) It seems like if i make NO modifications to the files delete the databases and reinstall then copy and past the old account and toon information into the new database i get one more use. then the problem rinses and is an issue again. Is anyone else having this problem? With logging on i'm still not receiving errors it all says "success" for the connections, accounts and, ip checksums ect... It doesn't seem to matter if i am using a 64x or 32bit. i seem to encounter the same problem. Any advice or a reference to a more technical guide that might help me to understand the problem?
  6. All worked well with setting up MangosTwo and all is running fine. But some of the characters are missing textures in the character creation screen. Undead are missing parts of the face, Humans are missing some of the facial features like beards and Hair... It's no a big deal, however I was curious if this can be fixed somehow. No other textures seem to be missing in the game as I can tell so far.
