  1. Alex, please, give URL on patch for src 10759 (for comparison with a patch 10757), or prompt, with what to begin, to rectify errors at patch addition. I beginner on C++.

    sorry on my bad English

    (I from Russia)

His patch 10759 works fine for 10768 as well.

  2. After a few weeks trying, I finally admit defeat and have to ask for help lol

    DaViper... I been trying to apply your last few over the weeks to a clean core. I keep getting this error;

fatal: git apply: bad git-diff - expected /dev/null on line 4

Someone earlier mentioned adding some empty lines at end of file (that does not work). I have tried variations on the -'s to no avail lol

I know the answer has to be very simple, and that is why I am feeling pretty stupid about now.

@ilkhan just do patch -p1 < nameofpatch.patch and that's it , no more git apply.

That fixed it...heh, talk about easy fix lol Thank You!

@wellqfk, I have no clue but I have uploaded it to filebeam here: http://filebeam.com/cdd511d2c8d50a4efcc89357eefd0fe2

The only thing I can think of is it got corrupted on pastebin...I have had trouble with other peoples patches put up there before and just thought it was me messing things up.

I hope this works better for you

That's what I was trying to say, on pastebin the patch was missing the Battleground.cpp and further part

    Thank you, this will work.

    Sorry for the misunderstanding

Had same issue until I grabbed your upload. So it must have been pastebin corruption or something. Again...Thank You!

  4. As normal...I always use NP+ to Compare my current configs and the new compile's ...conf.dist.in configs. I even matchup the config version numbers as well as spaces.

EDIT: That was it (yes, I feel real dumb now) LOL

After matching up the mangosd configs, I saved but then noticed one thing i missed at the top. I changed the confversion number but did not save the added [MangosdConf] just on top of it. Thank both of you for making me check something I was SURE I had correct. :)

  5. Realmd starts just fine. Mangos does not even stay open long enough for me to see anything or allow its log to be created. I have been compiling and updating my server roughly every 10-14 days for the past year. This is the first time I have ever had an issue worthy of asking help with. I have done nothing different from my normal routine.

    Latest core = 10107

Machine = win 03 server 32bit with latest patches always.

  6. I have had this issue as well. Pet names are correctly shown in the DB table, but when loggin into game "most" pets display as "Unknown" as well as the pet action bar not being there until you mount and dismount again. I type /reload to get the pet's name to display again. Zoning however, removes it and changes back to "Unknown" once again.
