i purged mysql  first then reacquired the DB files (bash) then ran the installdatabases.bat with defaults with the same error 

maybe you could just export your mangos3 db youbuilt

how do i dump the results of the patch attempt to a txt file?  I dont really know what I am looking at but is there a syntax error on hallows eve?  its the only one that is different...and I see the same formatting on the next patch.  can this some how be skipped since it is duplicated in the next patch?

having a WoW family get together this weekend, would be nice to play cata.  (watching the development eager for pandaria)

if I could figure out how to get the update to apply but SQL is new to me.  and this is the first time seeing this issue like this.

I am using Heidi and mysql 5.7 on windows server 2012, 2 6 core procs with 184 gig memory on SSD array storage

are there any other instructions for updating of videos or web page somewhere that I have not found yet?

Updates fail... i tried to execute in heidi but it still fails  just like it fails in the tool.

any other ideas?

how do I do the updates ???  when using the tool to do it it errors and doesn't complete correctly.

I have asked this question several months ago and still have not gotten mangosthree to work,  I have done zero, one and two and i have gotten them all to work but three is giving me some issues.  I have followed the directions to the letter (copy/paste) 

so if the tool will not do the updates... how can I do it manually?  (one at a time)  since this has not been a problem before this is all new too me. 

Pulled it straight from the repo according to the directions 2 days ago. If you know of a way to get this differently, please let me know. Pull it always the same way. The only thing differences is instead of having it mango zero, it's mango's three and I don't know of any different way of doing it

just pulled all this from github this morning.

did all that and still not working... almost certain it is a PFsence issue.  wish I understood this a bit more

as it is right now you can play the client on the host machine but anyothe machine on the LAN get the realm loop we are all so fond of

I did have the server IP bound in the 2 conf files but that made no difference so I changed it back.  can / should i bind this to my IP?

firewall is completely disabled on the host windows server datacenter 2012 R2

only thing I can think o f is that I am not understanding the port forwarding in PFsence.  

what is rather interesting is that the crappy router provided by Astrea (My ISP) can be configured and worked just fine.  we moved across town and using my PFsence box and nothing works

I may just put this aside for a bit.  and work on a registration page.  (any ideas on one?)

Still working on issues getting client to connect to server on LAN but can connect on localhost with no problem...  I think it is a PFSence issue but will work on that later

Right now I am trying to figure out or if someone has one available, a webpage templates to set up registration and account creation along with server status / statistics.

I had on set up before but alot of the coding was broken due to DB updates.

I get this up and running, the next snowstorm we get I am gonna try to get Pandaria running.

so I have wow _classic and _retail  can the data be extracted or do I have to acquire a vanilla client before _classic went live?
