Has anyone managed to extract VMAPS for 3.3.5 under Mac OS X?

I get no output when running wine vmapExtractor3.exe, no files created, no error message, it just returns me back to shell.

extractor v2 works, but the generated files cant be used with current mangos rev and 3.3.5 client.

Anyone?

Right now we have 15 commands in event_scripts, but none of them supports despawning of an object or creature.

There are quests where creatures should be despawned (for a few seconds) and then they should respawn back automatically.

For example, this one http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10808.

So, having a command opposite to TEMP_SUMMON_CREATURE would be great.

Any comments?

[9271] 0.16.0 and UDB 386 - so far 9 hours with less then 20 players on Ubuntu.

Have you checked the sticky at the top of this section to increase mangos stability? Using some of the tips in there we've gone from ~ 6 hours of uptime to more than a week with several hundred players online, using otherwise the same revision

For the record, that is the 0.12 version of 8719 + TBCDB 0.0.2.2 + SD2 1476. Most important change is the increased stack size patch.

Thank you, but, I would like to know what rev number of mangos (clean) is able to work for at least 1 day without crashing on 100 players.

What is the most stable mangos revision + sd2 + udb?

By stable, I mean at least 1 day of up time.

Current revisions are ridiculously unstable.

Same for me, crashing every 15 minutes or so.

9266 is also VERY unstable. Restarts almost every 10 minutes or so!

Time for a bump. I would love to see #1 priority for all class spells before you guys dedicate your time for implementing spells for bosses...

This would be a very nice bug to fix indeed...

Anyone else not able to compile on linux this latest rev?

I really don't want to comment out pieces of code without knowing what that code actually does.

I'll go with Vladimir's commit and see if it fixes this issue.

Pure core, no addons or patches. Pure UDB, nothing custom.

Frequency: From 8 minutes to 2 hours

Description: It has something to do with a duplicate object in the DB. Any suggestions?

I do have a little problem with it. My crash logs that get created are empty.

I am, however, running the script via screen, could this be the problem?

Also, server logging parameter in config is set to full.

Any idea what might be wrong?

I compiled MaNGOS/0.14.0-DEV (* * Revision 8139 - *) and imported the UDB_0.11.5_Core_7681_SD2_1012

In my understanding, this UDB is for mangos 7681 and needs to be updated which mangos server log clearly confirms with this line:

2009-07-07 20:55:30 ERROR:Error in gameobject_template table, probably sql file format was updated (there should be 39 fields in sql).

But, on http://unifieddb.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/unifieddb/trunk/Updates/0.11.5_additions/,

there is nothing that updates from 7681 to a newer version, its updating from 7682 ?

That's where I get lost and keep diggin through UDB svn trying to find it...

I also noticed that after importing the data into a CLEAN DB from above mentioned UDB file, in table db_version says "UDB 0.11.0 (371) for MaNGOS 7681 with SD2 SQL for rev. 1012"

Now how the hell can it be udb 0.11.0 when I downloaded 0.11.5?

Also, when UDB says CORE, does mangos and the other servers now have the same core versions or something? Its unified, right?

Can someone please clear these things up for me, I dont want a step by step guide I just need a hint here and there

Nevermind, I found this on UDB forums:

In order to get from 0.11.0 (370) to 0.11.5 (371), apply these files:

* 371_corepatch_characters_7518_to_7681.sql <- apply to characters database

* 371_corepatch_realmd_7518_to_7681.sql <- apply to realmd database

* 371_corepatch_mangos_7518_to_7681.sql <- apply to mangos database

* 371_updatepack_mangos.sql <- apply to mangos database

These files are located in tags/0.11.0/Updates

Very freakin' logical / not.
