Is learning Weapon/Armor skills from a different class possible?

Hello,

Recently I had the idea to add two-handed sword skill to my priest however I couldn't get it to work. I tried adding both the passive and learned spells using .learn but neither had an affect. I noticed that a two-handed sword spell was added to my spellbook but I cannot cast it. Is it possible for a class to learn Weapon/Armor skills that they ordinarily could never learn?
