What is it?

Its your basic wow launcher.exe file.

Whats it do?

It will let you register to your website your server and your chat room.

It will launch wow if places in the wow folder.

So far it has a registration syste included.

PERSONAL NOTES::But Not 100% Fininshed Dew to the fack there are 3 Flags for each Exspantion.

Whats going to be added?

Once every thing I have so fare is 100% working for registration for the 3 clients, and the login I will be adding the following.

Custom Updatedable Profile:

Profile includes avatars.

Profile includes and about you page:

Profile includes your website info.

Profile includes other personal info Optional.

Profile includes your gallery.

Profile includes your music.

Profile includes your videos.

PERSONAL NOTES::The goal for the profile is to make it some what like a facebook tool.

Im wanting to add and public music player that will stream random music from randome users.

Users will be able to upload videos music and images. or the can link them with an url.

Same gose for a public video room this will do the same.

And again a public random gallery.

PERSONAL NOTES:: The project will be release once I have the registration and the chat room and the login ready.

All the other options will be released over time.

Version 2.0.0 Will include a personal video player and list if you look close you can add more videos with the add more button at the top of the video player. It will also include a short personal Information section where if you look to the side of each displayed information you will see a ED button thats for editing the information.

No if you noticed there is a search button at the top of the page. here is where you can search for any user by name or you can click the quick search at the top to see a list of all users.

Once you seach for a user you will be redirected to that users profile. and there you can watch his favorit videos he has posted. Its some thing like a youtube service inside the launcher it self.

I added a search system where once the user logins he or she can go to profile and update there website launcher location.

And if any one uses this launcher they can go to Search server and type fun server or pvp or gm ect and a list will drop down.

They can read about the server if the user who is hosting the server provieds the detail information.

Or they can click the Enter Site and the Launcehr will load the site inside the Launcher. So in a way its one system linking every one using the launcher. And each site will have the registration system included in the source download and each Launcher will and can be different.

Its a endless loop

Notice I ask you do not change the chat room link becasu I will not be releaseing the chat room files as of yet becasue it is not ready to be released.

How ever The compile will be very easy You will have 2 folders inside you file

Folder One will be the source

Folder Two will be website upload

You will not want to upload the website files

untill you will change the config.as script to you domain name

and upload the new swf Launcher file so all the links will be directed to your website not mine.

You will also want to change the connect.php in the flash folder. so it connects to your database.

Once you have compiled the Launcher.fla with Flash CS4

You will then need to download swfkit to make the EXE file.

More help will come in time.

Has a name problem the folder should be

You should rename the folder backgrounds to background before you upload to your website.

It appears to just be a wrapper for a Flash applet.

yes once the project is ready I will submit a download link so any one can have this.

This is a flash php xml mysql build and i use other tools to compile the swf files called swiftkit

I'm also writing a launcher but using C# in combination with PHP (For the status and news stuff), it's all done and it even has an updater feature (Can detect the wow version and download updates accordingly) and all that's left to do is write the stuff that makes the updater able to update itself.

Ok i have fininshed the registration system for all clients. And I know I said I would release once I finished the registrations pages.

So I will be releaseing the Launcher v1.0.0 With Login and Registration. But It will not have any profile or search system or video or music player or chat room Files included.

It will only be login and registration.

You can still use the chat room and watch it get developed. but you will not have the files untill version 2.0.0.

This will let the user modify the Luancher to his or her likeing.

Version 2.0.0 Will include the chat room and the profile.

Version 3.0.0 Will include the Music and The Video.

Todays updates so far.

I have added a profile page where once login the data gets pulled from mysql into xml into flash it pulls your avatar your website username email launcher.swf location and much more will be added in the profile.

What im wanting to do is get it to pull your favorit music list your favorit video list and pull all your friends you make using the system.

I added registartions fixs where invaled symboles are not allowed. and you can no longer have a username or password or email longer then 16 charaters for user and pass email 32 charaters.

I have noticed a few problems with the chat room. once a user searchs for a server he leaves the launcher main files and joins some other website some where and starts playing around there. but if he clicks the chat room it will not load frame 40 on the main launcher becasue hes not in the main launcher hes some where in the world.

But I have the fix for it.

I havent added it yet but the images are there. in the profile there is a quick search with a field and a submit button. This is where you can type andy ones username and view the profile of that user and lision to his favorits music or watch his favorit movies or videos or check out his gallery. ect.

The idea is cool to me and the good news is I wasnt sure if it would work but its working exactly the way I seen it working in my head.

Problems im having and I see that will be a problem is sql injections. from the php pages. so I need to learn a way to protect the php files so no injections can happen unless its from the flash launcher.

Im done messing with it for a while. Gettting sick of see it. need a brake from pc for a while hope you like it.

Who ever uses this web site Flash Launcher and makes a EXE launcher and upload the Launcher to there website.

You can add your Launcehrs Location on your profile. and tell us about your server and stuff. and any one using this Launcher can go to your website. Your all connected togethter. Inside the Launcher.

I gave you the chat room files. the full Database and the Website uploads and the Fla files.

You should be good to go.

Alot more will come once I brake for a minute. about two weeks. Ill start working on a advance voting system for it.

and test more to solve code cracks.

Its a project and it takes time but its working the Idea work exacly the way i seen it would.

You all have a personal video player where you can add as many youtube videos as you want and lission to your music or watch you videos while you chat or play. you can search for any username who is register with that system. so if you are a wow-bro user all wow-bro members can search for each other and lission to thier music or watch thier videos. if your from wow-bro and you go to server search,

and register somewhere else you should prolly change your launcher to that location for thier user list.

In the next version its going to have a globle search system but I didnt add that to this version of the Launcher.

Just one question. In the video "tutorial" ( not sure if it is the right word, cuz it was little bit chaotic but nevermind ) you tell that users have to replace orig Launcher.exe and thats forbiden or im wrong ? ( i know users dont have to used it, but shouldnt be better make your Launcher standalone without need to replace orig Launcher.exe ? ) Anyway nice work, in the end it will look very nice, just keep going.

Well i named it launcher so if you compile it in swfkit it will compile as launcher.exe you can name it what ever you want if its not named launcher it will not over write your launcher exe file. just rename it to some thing else.
