New build, new problem

I downloaded mangos from here: http://github.com/mangos/mangos/tarball/v0.16

Built it using MSVC10. No compile errors. No SD2 or UDB - I just want a bare bones server.

Extracted the dbc and maps, making sure to use the new ad.exe I just created. Copied them to the correct locations.

Copied the realmd.conf and mangosd.conf to the correct locations.

Executed the scripts in /sql: create_mysql.sql, characters.sql into characters db, mangos.sql into mangos db, realmd.sql into realmd db.

realmd starts ok. mangosd says this:

Map file './maps/0004331.map' is non-compatible version (outdated?).

I did not get that error with version 0.16-dev2. Using client version 12340 with both.

Some people could think you are spamming the forum.

2 new threads on the same day,

1 yesterday (that's been locked, and told to stick with your original one),

and a 4:th one still open,

all about the same subjects (get the server working with client version 3.3.5a).

Stop making new threads, and stick with one,

more threads doesn't make things go faster,

have patience.

And the 0.16 branch supports client version 3.3.3,

that's why you get the "maps outdated" error.

The master branch supports 3.3.5a,

read the Announcements & News forum.

Use git console/gui and download the source from the master branch instead.

Read the guides on how to do that, or google it.
