the first thing I would do is to get the most recent version of the old patch, see what actually is happening there

merge it into recent mangos, htink about needed tunings, and then you should be on the way.

I get several lines of errors when i check the patch.

../object.cpp:569

patch does not apply...

Around 10 lines. Also, the patch cannot find GameEvent.cpp and .h.

Edit: Do the numbers at the end of some of the errors represent the error in the line of the patch coding or the error in the line of the base coding?

./object.cpp:569

meaning that there is a conflict (probably) in the 569th line of the file when git wanted to apply the pacth. looking there should propose you the two version of the code and let you chose the one you want to apply (or mix them).

Looked at it, and it has the exact same line.

Should i remove it?
