Mangos Support for 4.0.x

Short version: no, we do not support client 4.0.x.

Long version: the source tree on github has a branch which you can follow to see how 4.0.x support is progressing.

Please take note that client 4.0.x is a major change aka. a whole new expansion with lots of fundamental system changes. This includes both the underlying client/server communication, as the individual game systems.

There is no date for a release of mangos with 4.0.x support available, and if it will be supported, you will find the date in this thread.
