new to mangos

1st of all let me say hello to all the members.. i`m very glad to be part of the comunity as of today... hehe ..

ok .. now to bussiness .. i just installed Mangos on my windows pc .. everything worked grate.. no errors.. started the server and working grate exept i just saw that the class trainer doesn`t have any "learn dual spec" .. i`m not sure if you guys handle such things.. but if you do i would be very gratefull for a helping hand... and if not.. maybe point me in the right direction ?

also if you guys have any pointers.. tutorials and stuff like that about what i should learn about this it would be a big help for me since i`m a first time user .. and this is my first ever wow server.. i`m actualy trying to learn this because i have some spair time and i`d really like to learn a little C++ and what ever other things i need to learn in order to edit some things in this game...

When asking for help it's best to specify the versions you use like SD2, MaNGOS, UDB/YDTB version, the answer may lie in those informations

If you liek to learn C++ i would advise you to begin at SD2, things there are less "critical" as if you do something wrong you won't messed up your core.

As the function from the vendor NPC is working probably, this must be an error from the specific database (e.g. UDB), which will not be supported by the mangos team. Please notice, that this is the developer forum for the core application written in C++, made from and for software developer, not a "newbie tutorial collection". There are many great websites who helps to find a way into the world of mangos an other related projects like UDB oder SD2.

As a tip for the solve the DB error, the class trainer needs the specific gossip entry linked with the script for teaching the dual spec.

Cyberfreak i didn`t mean to start a turorial frenzy in here.. hehe.. i just asked for directions.. thank you for your answer.. i searched google for some time now and i did find SD2 and UDB.. i was a little confused at first because i saw a couple of posts here in witch people were saying that UDB was down so i didn`t know anything abou that since i`m new.. anyway .. about the dual spec.. i did manage to fix it..
