Can't connect to the server

Hello all,I've created a new server and edited every config file.When the server loads and i try to connect it gets stuck on "Connecting" or "Login Server Down" Others can't connect to ...

I don't use a Router or a Modem

How can you connect to the internet without a modem?

Only way I can think of, is if you're connecting thru someone elses internet connection (lan/wlan),

and even then, they have a modem.

Have you really started realmd and mangos (if Windows they should be called realmd.exe and mangosd.exe),

or do you have any errors when starting up them?

Have you tried to start the server and let it listen to localhost, and connect that way?

That's one of the best ways to really test if you have managed to get the server working 100%.

Next step would be to allow connections thru your external IP address.

When trying to make it possible to connect thru your external IP address,

you must make sure you have port forwarded the 2 ports correctly,

and the firewalls in your computer/router/modem allow traffic thru those ports.

If you haven't done those things, you won't be able to connect.

If you have no basic network skills, you should NOT try to run anything called server.
