NPCs using weapons. How?

Hi all!

Is there a way to make npc wield weapons, cause they are only punching. I found the weapon for ex. Zul'Jin but i dont know how to make him wield it permanently. Thy:)

in game use:

.npc addweapon <item id>

and in the database I believe it is the "equipment_id" column in "creature_template".

I'm curious as to whether or not someone has been looking into how to fix this command.

There seems to be a hack in the commented code which bypasses what seems to be the function of m_creature->loadequipment(itemID). Any thoughts?
