[fixed]missing 0004331 map.

Hi everybody,

It seems I'm almost there... but launching mangosd.exe, the window closes.

Here is my Server log :

Searched for this missing map on my pc... found it and placed it in the map folder... still have the same error message.

"maps" and "vmaps" folders are in C:/Mangos

DataDir value in mangosd.con is : DataDir = "."

Have you done ad.exe in your Client Directory and run it to create maps and dbc files?

And then copy then to Data dir which you have chosen in mangos.conf?

Change this to the correct value and your fine. On GNU/Linux I do it like this:

Copy all data files into a folder 'data' next to mangos bin directory.
Now you have a folder /opt/mangos with /opt/mangos/bin, /opt/mangos/etc
and /opt/mangos/data.
Change mangosd.conf to "DataDir = "../data"

On Windows things should be the same just that you have different path

names like C:\\Mangos\\ with C:\\Mangos\\data etc.

Maybe you make a typical error and extracted the maps from a 4.0.X client? It must be from a 3.3.5.a client.
