[fixed]SD2: Unable to connect to Database.

Hello everybody!

Finaly upgradet to UDB 401. I hade loads of error messages with all the "corepath-mangos" and "corepath_characters" from 394 to 400 and no error messages in the "updatepack" files... Hope my database is not to messy !

Anyway we needed this upgrade, especialy for the Wotlk quests how needed lots of work on our 393 version^^

Strangely, the patches I have created are still in place. I have created a daily quest with five npc for example and it is still there... thought it would be erased with the update... Also the mining and herbs spot I have included in Elwynn forest are still there...

Checked on the quest in Valgard, also Utgard instance that weren't working to well on 393, there is lots of improvements !

I have a problem with ScriptDev2.

My configuration is :

UDB 0.12.1 (401) MaNGOS 11376 SD2 SQL 2036

ScriptDev2 (for MaNGOS 11167+)

Grand the DB user the Rights to acess to SD2 DB like you have made to World Database.

Could you please explain me where to modifie this acces right? Checked on mangosd.conf, didn't see anything relating to SD2 DB.

scriptdev's DB connection info is in scriptdev2.conf, but the access/privileges Cartman87 mentioned must be done from within your mysql server (phpmyadmin or mysql CLI)

The file scriptdev2_create_database.sql should have already done this tho, so i would just make sure you have the correct password in scriptdev2.conf

scriptdev2.conf has to be in the same directory as mangosd.exe with the right DB settings in it.

It works. Forgot to check on the settings of the new scripdev2.conf ^^
