Mac connection to a windows MaNGOS server?

No, this has nothing to do with hosting the server on a Windows box and connect to it with a Mac. I'm guessing the problem is your realm (world daemon) is still listed in your database with a wrong hostname or IP like 127.0.0.1 or something.

Check this thread, where I (tried to) describe a similar situation: http://getmangos.eu/community/topic/16923/can-see-realms-but-not-enter-to-them/

I set up my MaNGOS server for the first time yesterday, and when I enter localhost into it's realmlist.wtf file it works fine. When I attempt to connect from another machine, having used my servers LAN ip in it's realmlist, however, I am able to open WoW, get to the login screen, and login, but once I get to the list of available realms, which contains only "MaNGOS", as it should, I can't get any farther. I can't see my character list or login. Is this because I am hosting MaNGOS on a windows box and connecting with a mac (same WoW version) or am I having some other network problem? Thanks in advance!
