Mangos TBS 2.0.12 - Need Help with .map files

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I'm new on this forum and now, i write my first post.

Please note, my english is not very good.

I have installed my classic World of Warcraft the the first addon The Burning Crusade, and patched it to 2.0.12.

Then, i want to create my own WoW TBS 2.0.12 LAN-Server, to play with my friends.

Also, i have downloaded the files from ***** (Schmoo: Links to repacks are not allowed)

(without maps file)

I have extracted this, imported the .sql files and configured my configuration files.

Then, i extracted the .map files with TBC_ad.exe (in the link above) and the newest ad.exe

The extraction completelly succesfulle, but i can't start the mangosd.exe

The realmd.exe can start up, but then i trying the mangod.exe, he say the following error:

2011-11-09 14:20:54 Using configuration file mangosd.conf.

2011-11-09 14:20:54 MaNGOS daemon /0.7-SVN (Win32)

2011-11-09 14:20:54 <Ctrl-C> to stop.

This says most of it. Other then that, you need TBC 2.4.3 for mangos one. You are using mangos one, right? Oh wait, you are using a custom repack for which you posted a link (which is not allowed)... Well, I guess you will need to talk to the guys who made the repack... Or compile mangos yourself
