In which commits was the vanilla honor rank system dropped

Well this is custom, but i would like to remove the vanilla ranking system from mangos-zero and instead user honorable kills to earn ranks only.

So i would like to know in which commits it was dropped in master

There was a patch for 3.3.5a to restore the 1.12 ranks by honorable kills. I think you can still find it in the old Core Mods section, but it's very outdated and would need a rewrite.

Sure would make battlegrounds a lot more fun. Not only would you get the satisfaction of vanquishing the opposing army, but you could shoot for the rank of Grand Marshal. I was always puzzled why Blizzard killed the rank system.
