Hello at all!

I have a load of problems while setting up mangos-wotlk. Before i had an nearly errorfree installation, but i wanted to make a clean and fresh installation of this mangos.

My used setup:

+ MaNGOS/0.17.0-DEV (* * Revision 12111 - *)

+ ScriptDev2 [Revision 2700]

... compiled errorfree with Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express (VC 100 compiler) as 'release-configuration' for x86-32 ...

+ UDB 0.12.2 (Revision 404)

+ ACID 3.1.0 'Another Wild Adventure'

+ GM-DB [Revision 1523]

I have installed in the following order:

+ creating a folderstructure for mangos

+ copied all compiled binaries (*.exe, *.dll) to the mangos-wotlk folder

+ created 'buildings' and 'dbc' with ad.exe

+ created 'maps' with vmapExtractor3.exe

+ created 'vmaps' with vmap_assembler.exe

+ created 'mmaps' with movemapgen.exe

+ copied 'buildings', 'dbc', 'maps', 'mmaps' and 'vmaps' into the root of the mangos-wotlk folder

+ created the following databases as utf-8 general ci: 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_characters', 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos', 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_realmd' and 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_scriptdev2'

+ created structure of 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_characters' with 'characters.sql' from mangos

+ created structure of 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos' with 'mangos.sql' from mangos

+ created structure of 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_realmd' with 'realmd.sql' from mangos

+ created structure of 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_scritpdev2' with 'scriptdev2_create_structure_mysql.sql' from scriptdev2

+ batched the database 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos' with 'UDB_0.12.2_mangos_11792_SD2_2279.sql' from unifieddb

+ batched the database 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos' with '402_updatepack_mangos.sql' from unifieddb

+ batched the database 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos' with '403_updatepack_mangos.sql' from unifieddb

+ batched the database 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos' with '404_updatepack_mangos.sql' from unifieddb

* i skipped the core-batches of unifieddb, because the current mangos-release is a newer release

+ checked the db_version of 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos'

+ The 4th columns says '11926_01_mos_creature_template.sql'

* there is a typo, i fixed it to '11926_01_mangos_creature_template.sql'

+ batched the database 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos' with all following updates from mangos folder '11940_01_mangos_creature_movement_scripts.sql' - '12097_01_mangos_mangos_string.sql'

+ batched the database 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos' with 'acid_wotlk.sql' from acid

+ batched the database 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos' with 'mangos_scriptname_full.sql' from scriptdev2

+ batched 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_scritpdev2' with 'scriptdev2_create_structure_mysql.sql' from scriptdev2

+ batched 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_scritpdev2' with 'scriptdev2_script_full.sql' from scriptdev2

+ batched the database 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos' with (*.sql) from gm-db folder

+ batched 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_scritpdev2' with (*.sql) from gm-db scriptdev2 folder

+ configured 'realmlist' from 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_realmd' with 'realmd.sql'

This should be done right, if i am not wrong.

But everytime, and i tried at least ten times for now, i am getting those messages from:

I have absolutely no idea, what could be wrong. Perhaps someone of you could give me a tip? Is my installation-order wrong? Are the revisions of mangos, scriptdev2, unifieddb and gm-db incompatible?

No. This. Is. Wrong. (Nein, das ist falsch). Horribly Wrong.

You must use the core updates from UDB at least on the mangos db together with the update packs. (If you make a new server, it doesnt matter for characters/realm)

After that you end up with a mangos db that has an out-of-date structure. But in a way that is controllable by the DB devs (for example, if there are db structure changes between updatepacks, the updatepacks will not apply properly if you skip the core updates). Then you must apply the core patches from MaNGOS to get to the current revision.

+ creating a folderstructure for mangos

+ copied all compiled binaries (*.exe, *.dll) to the mangos-wotlk folder

+ created 'buildings' and 'dbc' with ad.exe

+ created 'maps' with vmapExtractor3.exe

+ created 'vmaps' with vmap_assembler.exe

+ created 'mmaps' with movemapgen.exe

+ copied 'buildings', 'dbc', 'maps', 'mmaps' and 'vmaps' into the root of the mangos-wotlk folder

+ created the following databases as utf-8 general ci: 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_characters', 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos', 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_realmd' and 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_scriptdev2'

Ok, so another start of this procedere. I think, for sure i can left the characters, realmd and scriptdev2 as it is.

So i'll start over, with a new 'mangos_[3.3.5_(12340)]_mangos' database following your suggestion:

As we can see, some errors could be eliminated, but not much of them. Where could be the error in this workload ... :-/
