  1. Are u using Windows or Linux? And can u confirm that when mangosd freezes up your cpu usage is either "100%" in case of single Core or around "50 / 55 %" when using dual core

  3. The bot can do it on its own aswell atleast thats my XP when i summon my druid. I recieve buffs and than the bot heals me to full after i recieved the buffs.

  5. Hi guys Just a quickie but i'm kinda lost at some point Been using the player bot for some time now and never had any real issues. Until today i decided to update my entire local server So i compiled the latest rev of mangos 8280 as usual included "the player bot" and "auctionhouse bot" patches Checked for any SQL updates from all included sources All went well server rolling nice and smooth so far so good Than i decided to grab another toon from my acc using the Player_Bot. (NPC Pappy Looter) At that point all pappy looter had to say was normal gossip message "Welcome *******" So naturaly i checked my DB to see if Pappy had the correct Scriptname, His scriptname was still Bot_giver also no changes in flags or something. just to be sure i deleted him and executed the provided SQL again After 3 recompiles with and without SD2 and the Auction house patch i still had the issue where the bot recruiter only says welcome I did check if recruiting a bot worked using the commands and that worked flawless only thing i have to add is i'm updating from Rev 8168 so it has been some time i browsed the forums to see if anything is changed, or am i missing something Well sorry for this big wall of text i hope i didnt critt your eyes by letting you read all of this Kind regards Tibu * dunno if it mathers but i'm using Winslows version just love the extras included in his patch big bow for Winslow, Runsttren and ofc the rest of the dev team huge salute to all of you
  6. I'm sorry to tell you, ive tryed different pets. from warlock to hunter and even temp. summoned pets. but i never had one single crash. Only thing driving me nuts are the opcode errors i recieve in my console, which in no way is related to this patch! But i just had to get it out of my system
  7. Never had one but than again i'm only using AH_bot patch and Playerbot patch, i have no idea how things would run if i mixed in more patches
  8. I know most classes have a base A-range of 30 yards which can be extended trough talents to 35 yards and in case of hunters even 40 yards I think if you stick to 30 yards, ur good to go. Atleast until the bots are smart enough to calculate talents
  9. Does anyone else experience talent resets as soon as one recruited there characters as bots?
  10. Yer i might have noticed it sooner or later, the fact however is been struggling with a terrible toothache, and finaly got helped by the dentist this afternoon. So thats why i wasnt looking properly, and also just got into the compiling learning bizznizz, so alot of info is coming towards me the past few days Last thing i want to thank everybody contributing to this project, got it up and running and the ppl i know from retail (yeah we are all hardcore retailers:) ) just couldnt believe there eyes Amezing job, we where really in a speechless state this afternoon

  13. I dont want to sound rude or anything but since nobody here can give me any advice on how to solve this. Maybee someone can point me to another forum where i might post this Again i dont want anything chewed out as its a learning process for me, i just need a place to post this / or some hints on where to search, as this is all really new to me Thanks again and sorry if this sounds a bit harsh

Thanks for clearing that out for me it is like i suspected I only found one issue which i'm not pro enough to resolve myself, but again hoping one of you can enlighten this for me IE i use git to get the source file *git://github.com/mangos/mangos.git -----> i than use git bash to apply this patch *git pull git://github.com/charlie2025/mangos.git outdoor -----> all goes well files merged after that i apply *git pull git://github.com/balrok/mangos.git alterac ------> Same for this one no errors after that one i want to apply this one *git pull git://github.com/Naicisum/mangos.git ahbot -----> this is the point i'm sruggling with as i recieve a message like this *"Conflict <content>: merge conflict in srs/game/world.cpp Auto-merging win/VC100/game.vcxproj Auto-merging win/VC80/game.vcxproj Auto-merging win/VC90/game.vcxproj Automatic merge failed; fix conflicts and than commit the result" "I have to add i dont have any conflict with the AH_bot patch if i only use the AH_bot patch" Noob as i am, i'm stuck here (just got into the compiling bizznizz and love it) Again any help would be much apreciated and i hope for 1 i explained my issue detailed enough if not i will try to give more information (i searched for any topic regarding these kind of problems but couldnt find anything related so far. Feel free to flame if i used my ears to search) Best of regards

Can anybody tell me, if i want to add more than one core_mod With the git pull commands like these git pull git://github.com/Naicisum/mangos.git ahbot git pull git://github.com/rastikzzz/mangos.git master git pull git://github.com/charlie2025/mangos.git outdoor git pull git://github.com/balrok/mangos.git alterac if i should add the first mod and than compile, or if its possible to add IE AH_bot / Outdoor_pvp / Alterac patches all at the same time and than compile Thanks in advance for any input regarding my question Kind regards Nick

With event_ai you can do alot to improve npc behaviour (basicly the training dummy is an npc) I for starters rooted them on the ground, placed a flag near there butt (horde / alliance) and let them de aggro when moving away from them Go to http://wiki.udbforums.org/index.php/Event_AI And check it out, take your time to read and learn! Trust me once you start to understand it, its like heaven. nothing is impossible
  17. All i can tell you guys is my xp from the retail servers. If i'm on my flying mount and i aggro a non ranged mob he will just stay focused until i'm at 10 yard range, than i will come out of combat. ranged on the other hand will try to shoot me / cast spells on me, again until i am to far away and yet again lose aggro. it never ever happens that a walking creature will ever attempt to leave the ground and start air walking. Its one of those things that bothered me since the beginning that on my local server mobs always attempt to follow me trought the air. Thought you dont here me complain about it i think the work of all the ppl on these forums are just pure awesome. It would be much apreciated if at some point this tiny little prob gets fixed. last thing i know from retail lets say if your standing on a huge rock and the distance to the creature is like 15 yards, asuming the target is melee only combat. And u start to shoot on the target, you will simply see EVADE until you walk towards him kind regards
