i agree with eNeRGy, wouldn't you like to know how to fully control your server as you wish? i personally like it this way, this gives me a great chance to learn C++ from reading commits from the repository and test making scripts as well. soon enough, i'll be good with c++ as i am with flash.. but yeah.. -
never really realised that players able to move on game objects were needed in code.. its a good start to look at. nice input.

u do know, if u dont feel like waiting on him, u can write in the patch on your own right? i mean, like if u do, would be nice to share with other people. if he doesnt finish rewritten it in, i'll write it in and post my little patch for it. just know that its me that manually rewritten t at code in from the first post, and not shin so it may not be as good as his lol. -
woot, some one moved this to under review! but yeah, i havent had a problem at all when it came to vellums. for whatever its worth, it has my vote.

yeah i had this same problem on mines. did you have any core modifications? cuz that was what i was beginning to assume it would have been. but not too sure on that after looking at this patch PSDB 279 Mangos 9110 windows_x86 SD2 1539 -

lol the code int he first post still works fine for me mangos revision 9020 took a while to manually write it in but it works fine. decided to actually save my copies of my patch files this time so i dont have to redo it... now if i can find a way t make my cpp files compare with the original mangos one and extract a patch that shows only the difference, that would be awesome.

i been curious how you went around and mixed the two together, i couldn't find the specific files to mix together. which ones you had to mix together to get both in one? >_> (i don't think i asked my question properly)

hmm actually im a bit confused on how to use the patch to work automatically. instead of manually replacing and adding in stuff with a text editor >_> anyone mind helping me understand hwo to use the .patch file?

edit: looking back at that first post, what did "Diff file group-trade.patch:" meant, what were we supposed to take note EDIT AGAIN!: the patch file works perfectly. it was because of my bro giving me horrible lag with his downloading that gave me a wrong revision of mangos >_> at least i learned something =3 -

oh thats great! does that yes alo means that even if you were to compile it on one operating system like "windows xp" then moved it to "windows vista" without doing a new compile, would it still be fine or would it work better if the compile worked for the specific operating system? -

so this means that we get an extra 2 .dll files (For windows users) and as long as its been compiled from the same OS, the performance difference would work fine? so we are still compiling the mangos core the same way as usual correct? (except with 2 .dll files) ? -

noticed if u leave it for a while it will eventually close. i was wondering the same thing a couple of days ago. but that does make the server restart time takes longer than should.
