Holidays... no time to work on stuff lol

ooh duh yea the 394 updates... i have to insyall the 393 pack then the seperate sql's ...to make it 394 yes got that ok still woundering about the SD2 thing.... the main site is... rather ambiguous ( or maybe i'm just brain farting when i look at it )

omfg the SD2 Forum SUX SO BAD.... i loge in ... click a link and it kickes me out calls me a guest and won't let me view anything.. sigh

pratcing patience not moveing forward till i figure out what to do about this SD2 thing and looking for the 394 UDB but all i see is the 393 and fresh install at https://unifieddb.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/unifieddb/trunk/Full_DB/ which is where the guide im using says is the newest version.. though i guess i could get on yet another forum ..... as if my time werent already limited enough lol

now quick note here i know where this is leading so im going to ask should i be concerned with the mangos ver.. and the SD2 ver because they "should" be compatable since their both brand new and dl/updated at the same time but i have a feeling i'm going to get that whole version thing that bothered me b4 ...UDB 0.12.1 (393) for MaNGOS 10545 with SD2 SQL for rev. 1833 and something like ...ScriptDev2 (for MaNGOS 10761+)

Ok clone mangos step 5 and clone sd2 step 6 finished and no errors .. Step 7 is skipped due to the use of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express and those options being pre regulated ( I think ) Will be back later to continue time to do homework with the children

wtf ok still getting stuff like Error Code : 1054 Unknown column 'required_10051_01_characters_character_aura' in 'character_db_version' so i keep going to the earler versions to "update" but really am i updateing if theirs NOTHING THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE? i thought the origonal file i "installed" was supposed to bring me to a semi updated version ? what am i doing wrong ?

FRELL wtf.... i backed up my characteds as an sql dump then tryed "reinstalling the sqls ..now all the toons are gone ... OMG my friends are going to be ticked cause their toons (characters ) all gone and the back up won't restore the characters wtf did i do wrong

OK soo i've got the whole thing "working" how ever their are many things "broken" during the instilation of updates (the sql files) i get errors like "feild scrips dosent exist" --note after the fact looks like i need to "dowgrade" my s2d or "upgrade" my mangos but i thought i was using the newest version. Sigh I just want it to work right for a nice safe place for my kids to play and with out being broken for my family to enjoy. lol @ Schmoozerd i'll try the 127.0.0.1 but i've done local and ive done my actual IP ( which is what i replaced ) ive done my no-ip address .. and i do start is up with the wow.exe i've restarted to make sure the launcher wasent some how still "active" in any way any other advive ? Piticulerly for my friend whos helping me test it and has the same thing happen... he plugged in my ip.. and tryed to log in ( he used diffrent info other than his retail version .. edited his realmlist then tryed to log on and went to retail patch dl 3.3.x -> 4.0.0 ( or w/e )

Ok. So i've read and googled tryed and re tried deleted rebooted reinstalled and no matter what i do i can not gt wow 3.3.5a ( aka 3.3.5 912340)(Relese) to connect to MY server .. YES i changed the realmlist to be local tryed my ip tried "local" tried "LOCAL" tried "Local" Tryed my router tried other private servers settings and no matter what i do it goed to down load the 4.0.0 patch and wants to log into the retail version.
