I justed wanted to inform all users, using outdoorpvp , I will not be longer updating outdoorpvp, I'm leaving mangos, world of warcraft, my "illegal" free server and this online playing rpg from personals reasons, I hope that there will be someone like balrok or someone else, who can finish outdoorpvp, review and commit and in future add Wintergrasp... Thanks ,

outdoor updated and fixed compile, to 0.12 .. I have lack of time and I personaly don't use 0.12 , but I will update it today..

maybe caching memory from OS side to prevent loading/unloading ? .. On Debian Lenny, I have 3GB memory, when mangos running, still 100mb free, but It is in 30 players and also in 200players.. and no using swap and not lost perfrormance, so I don't care

Running Doxygen over the sources wouldn't be a bad idea for the beginning...

However i wouldn't mind some extra documentation either...haven't seen a single doxygen comment yet.

I have some Problems with git pull and the patches from the GIT Network Graph.

1. When I patch the Source with Anticheat all is fine, then I made a commit.

2. Next I patch outdoor, no errors, git says there is no commit needed.

3. Now I patch Serverwide Event Patch, then I become merge conflict Errors, but when I patch Serverwide before I patch outdoor no Erros appear, but then I have the Errors by the Outdoor patch.

The same is when I try to patch alterac or impconfig, nothing work if I had patched the source with other patches before.

Sry for my english, I hope somebody can help me with this problem.

no patch currently is made for work with some other patches.. open some Cpp editor, find in project <<< etc. and fix conflicts in those place.. then commit the result and compile..

if you do git pull git://github.com/charlie2025/mangos.git outdoor , you can't have problem, maybe your error is some conflict with other patch you use.. if yes, then you must fix by self

I noticed that you have 8 cores, and neither one of them is 100% load, mangos is split to all 8 ?

There is some multithreading in mangos.. like net threads etc.. but not enough as should be.. like multithreading maps

First of all, it should be needed as part of outdoor pvp system - you find this patch in under review, it "fix" all outdoor pvp areas - except wintergrasp.. wintergarsp is very hard and before start coding this, ideal would be have outdoor pvp system in master. Balrok had some ideas about it, but he study now. Also it needs working vehlices and destroyable buildings.. as for new battleground in wotlk.

I think mangos have cheat checks for this cases.. And nobody said thet you can create item with some tool, he said you "like have GM acc" .. But with some real point of view, it will be standart fly/speed etc.. hacks

Hi, recently I've seen too many spam in logs:

The thing is that this is some reward spell for Outdoor pvp in Silithus. But that's not not the main problem... I had reports in the same time that players can farm honor along with this rewards with only mouse clicking.

I've just removed this spell along with honor rewards from sources... hope someone can fix this problem properly=\\

To first error log : This spell 29534 (by dbc) should trigger 31247 .. so it is some problem with core

and how "can farm honor with mouse clicking" ??

To second log, faction 609 exists also so I don't understand this also..

I will test myself, if I got same errors.. then I will fix.

other idea (but near to the one from charlie2025):

- sql fixes

- network / client stuff

- dbc / maps / vmaps / similar things

- spell fixes (core, not db)

- crash fixes

- other fixes (small fixes, fixes which doesn't apply to any other topic above)

Hm i think if you create spell fixes category, you should create fixes also for pvp things, battleground stuff, etc.. and it would be a lot of categouries and would not be purposefull. I think it should be three / four max forums.
