  1. First I want to say thanks ! it's a nice patch, but there are some problems.

    http://www.wowhead.com/spell=51626 Deadly Brew doesn't work anymore with this patch

    And i'm not sure (but almost sure :D) that http://www.wowhead.com/spell=14117 "improved poisons" doesn't work with auto attacks.

    However, it's still better to use this patch with an envenom spec.

    PS : sorry for english.

    its wierd because we used this patch in our older revision and it didnt affect deadly brew, so im guessing the problem must be elsewhere

  2. Does it fix mutilate?

    it will not only fix mutilate but rogue damage in general, the bigest reason rogues are nerfed in mangos is because poisons are nor applying from special attacks.

    as it has been said before, if you had both daggers with wound poison, and mutilate were to apply both poisons from the attack it would be near 1k more damge.

  3. with insider42 repo it works but it doesnt refresh the buff if you already had it by the time you vanish.

    example: you leave stealth, and you have overkill buff, so you vanish and the buff disappears after a while even if you dont leave stealth, even if you remove the buff beofore vanishing.

  4. I am using it for a bit of time already with dead-lock fix i posted up there, seems to work ok, rogues are happy so, its fine

    if you could post it with the fix you made i would be really gratefull cause i dont know where to add the check you posted, or you could tell me in what part of the code is it suposed to be.

    is it inside

    edit: and a questing? should it proc from attack whick actually dont hit target (miss, dodge) or even from attack which hit the target (parry,block)?

    i think it wound probably be only miss and dodge and then the ProcEx should be ProcEx = 20

    the tooltips says that it refunds the energy when the finisher fail to hit the target, so when it misses its dodged parryed or even blocked it should give the energt back, check wowhead coments.

    yes they should, and actually that would affect not only mutilate but every combo builder for rogues

    PD: even though i dont think mutilate bug is just poison proc(due to backstab still doing 1-2k more damage than mut), the poison proc bug is really huge and it nerf us rogues to the ground, so maybe someone could post a thread about it, i would do it my self but its getting late and im tired, i will do it tomorrow if nobody does

    again to get your things right:

    atm, SPELLS like Mutilate/Sinister Strike and some others DOESNT proc Poisons i.e. Wound/Instant..

    but if the poison procs in lets say mutilate, the poison damage would appear as part of mutilate damage or in another yellow number? the thing im complaining about is that with about 3.5 ap im doing betwen 1-2k more damage with backstab than mutilate(double crit) and we al know mut double crit damage is about the same as backstab crit damage asuming of course poisoned target, and even though poisons arent procing from our abiities we should still see similar damage between mutilate and backstab.

    well when i tested it the funny thing is that when the target is poisoned the damage seems affected by the bonus when its a main hand crit or offhand crit but ii doesnt seem to aplly when it hits a double crit(although its only what i found out with my testing and is not an absolute conclution and more testing could have been needed).

    but if the poisoned target bonus is working properlly then the bug must be elsewhere, maybe the talents afecting mutilate or the extra damage with each hand are not working but mutilate damage in mangos is clearly bugged anyone who have played on retail with a rogue knows this.

    PD: according to what ive heard, mutilate in trinity seems to be working as intended maybe someone could check mut code there and see if we can aplly it over here
