  1. Doing a little modification of the settings and it appears only the rate.speed.unit has any effect. And the only place this appears is in unit.cpp. I see there is an array for m_speed_rate[mtype]. Is it possible that all units have the same speed?? If so, maybe all there needs to be is a if-then unit type structure to adjust speed accordingly (if you only modify rate.unit.speed, it falls to a melee game since ranged/spell combat would be deprecated) Am I on the right track?
  2. I recently upgraded Mangos to 9426 (UDB database) with support for WOW 3.3.2 and now I am experiencing video artifacting issues. I can play for about 1-2 hours then my video goes haywire. It looks as if the polygon drawer is out of hand. It keeps updating and drawing more polygons that take up the majority of the screen where my character is. I usually quit Mangos at that point. This artifacting carries over to Windows (XP Pro), except here it looks like about 40 columns of train tracks going down my screen. Depending on where my mouse is determines the shading of the tracks. Once I reboot, everything is fine for another 1-2 hours. I'm trying to include 2 screen shots from when this happens, but I cannot post attachments, so I am still thinking how to link.:cool: Anyone else experienced this? I have an older type laptop (SAGER 9780), but I have the latest drivers (actually latest drivers; not necessarily from my manufacturer that doesn't bother updating old drivers!) Thanks in advance for your ideas!
