  3. I realise that, but since I'm the only one on my test server I can't really be arsed to script the visual effects either. I would only script the actual buff the item gives, not the visuals. Which in theory could be done with a simple urand script based (simple form, all buff for all classes) or more advanced, which I would not know how to do, which is why I would just go with urand, really. Or am I totally wrong?

  5. Say I want to add Spell Effect support for http://www.wowhead.com/item=50362 Do I script in C++, AND add Support in DB? Or how does it work? I have tried earlier, purely in C++ though. But it didn't work so I figured my code was just wrong really. Then lately I've checked abit more into it, does it require DB support aswell?

  10. I'm quite sure this is not possible. As it would require extensive knowledge of the DBC system WoW uses to make it happend, and as we know - It is not allowed to edit DBC files. So don't expect any help from Mangos with it. edit; The only way you can reuse the Old Instances is clearing them for mobs and start spawning your own mobs, and thereby fabricating your own Instance.
  11. You do know that MaNGOS is NOT a emulator. And to be fair, you can't compare a WoW emulator (If we were talking about one) to a UO Emulator.
