i would please propose to the MaNGOS community an idea i have been thinking about.

the idea is a open pvp realm with no progression above level one, where gear is only cosmetic and earned thru pvp combat with no stats but nil, zero. 

the advancement of a character would be to unlock class skills;  they would need to have a certain number of pvp kills to obtain a lvl on their class skill tree.   A character could also become stronger by  advancing combat and weapon skills, ie a warrior could train axes, a hunter could train bows, a priest could train wands, ect... 

gold would be used only to obtain items like bags, reagents, mounts and would have a blizzlike drop rate of 1x..  all gear drops would have a vendor value, but be statless.  all flight paths would cost no gold.  guild formation would cost no gold and require no signatures.

if there could be away to script dungeons, raid and world boss kills could contribute to earned pvp content dependent on difficulty.  (not really sure how that could be implemented)  also, all world mobs should be scaled to lvl 1 in an effort to allow a solo character to kill it.

i not really sure how factions would work.  as an open pvp space i am thinking battle royal, hoard can kill hoard, alliance can kill alliance.  i am also thinking about starting zones.  Stranglethornvale around the arena?
