Experimental core question

I'm currently using the experimental 320 branch, merged with the master branch, merged with all my patches. Currently the experimental 320 branch is somewhat working, but buggy (I have an annoying visibility bug). Does any dev have an idea of when it will be merged into the main trunk (when it will be stable, but in how much time? About a month? More? Less?)?

I know the 320 branch is not supposed to be used yet, but I'm trying at least to fix the WoW Errors (I'll post a patch if it works well), and also this visibility bug (and some GM command bugs, like .namego not working and .goname being buggy).

Thanks by advance for your answers.

PS: Is it safe not to autoreconf && ./configure when recompiling? It would greatly speed up the whole process...

hello - as you might have already noticed, mangos doesn't have a release-schedule, therefore no one can tell a specific date, besides "when it's ready"

so just asking wouldn't help

you need to run configure and so on, only when the makefile changes.. so you can speed up your work :)

another trick to improve speed is: make -j (see manpage)

Thanks for this answer. make -j is of no use here, my server is a single core hehe (my desktop/laptop are too in fact). Thanks anyway.

The « real soon » thing makes me think the core is being less and less buggy for the 3.2 (now 3.2.2 for what I've seen on the forum?). I'll update it. Thanks to everyone.
