Line of sight because of terrain differences

Yes, you cant shoot up the stairs, but graveyards in Warsong Gulch are different. On retail, you can shoot/cast whatever you like from bottom to peoples who is ressing at the graveyard (even if it is through ground). The same case is that peoples up at graveyard could cast spells on peoples under the graveyard (through ground).

I played on retail 4 mounth ago (wotlk) and I were able to cast everything from the bottom to the people ressing.

WMOs block line of sight by default unless marked otherwise.

The typical heightmapped terrain will never under any circumstances block line of sight. This is true even when the normal heightmap terrain is used in instances such as ZG, ZF, BT, Hyjal, etc.

Ok...so this patch will never be accepted into the core because it does not duplicate behavior on retail. We get that.

But, it is superior to retail because being able to shoot someone or spell them through the ground is just plain ridiculous.

I say add config option, then move to under review. Plenty of non-official features exist in mangos master, they're just off by default.
