Confused about acid-sd2 and sd2...

Are they the same or diff do you use one or the other and what one do you use first.

sd2 = C++

acid = easy way of scripting , with sql.

Acid can be used without sd2.(Not sure , but should do since mobs still casting and saying stuff)
