Problem -- Client authentication hangs after "success" message.

I built MaNGOS on Ubuntu using the wikis on this site. Both mangos-realmd and mangos-worldd start without a problem.

My client is at 3.3.3(11723.) I modified my realmlist.wtf and used the ACCOUNT CREATE command found elsewhere on this site to create a user.

When I start the client, it can find my server, and identifies it by name. I enter the username and password I created and it goes through the authentication messages until it says "Success!".

...And then it does noting after that.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I should check next? I have been searching this forum, but have not found this same problem.

search for "realm loop" or check console for errors.

If your server is public, make sure in your realmlist database, that the realmlist is set to the STATIC IP of the computer you are hosting on. Also make sure port forwarding is set up etc etc.
