How to enable logging for crashs on Linux?

My server has been suffering many crashs after update to version 3.3.5.

OS: Ubuntu Linux 10.04 X64 Server

Intel® Xeon® CPU E5620 @ 2.40GHz, 16 cores (4x4QUAD)

Real memory 11.75 GB total, 707.62 MB used (12GB)

Local disk space 129.09 GB total, 13.29 GB used ( 146 GB 15K RPM SCSI/SAS HDD)

1000 Mbps Uplink

Players on: +- 150
