Server over the internet

Hello, i finally got my server up and running.

I want to test it out with a friend of mine, but how do i make the server "publicly" accessable?

I don't have any firewalls/routers etc.

My friend can connect and login but he is unable to enter the realm, he can see the realm in the realmlist, but he cannot enter the realm.

I changed the ip in realmd.realmlist to my external ip, i also changed the name of the server.

Whats funny thro is that, the server name is still read as "ManGos" and not as "Tjockisarna" as i changed it to.

Any ideas?

First off m8, having a public mangos server is against the law and NOT EVER to be discussed in this forum as it breaks all ToS's

If you want to discuss such things you will need to discuss it privately with someone else.

You restart realmd?

And make sure your ports (for both realmd and mangosd) are forwarded, if you're behind NAT.

hahaha i guess your right, i'm still very new to this.

But i love to play around with the server, trying to create new stuff etc, great community i must say.
