update fail

I tried to apply the SQL updates in the folder "updates" so I can run "mangosd.exe" except almost all the versions fail. Is there another way I can update, or make it so it will run with my version?

What errors through SQLyog/navicat are you getting? This info will help us to pinpoint where you are going wrong.

The more info you can provide, the smoother and quicker your journey will be; like what DB you use and where did you get it, what SD2 and where did you get mangos e.t.c

Always read the stickied guides before posting.

What you have written ihas probably already been answered there,

or in the hundreds of other threads about how to update.

If you don't have a content database, just use the mangos.sql in the sql folder,

and you don't need to apply any updates, since mangos.sql already contains the lastest update.

Read the stickied thread "[GUIDE] Updating for Windows" on how to update,

the part "Third Stage Databases" is the one you should really pay attention to.

I get sevral errors trying to apply the updates, from the update pack downloaded from the Svn tourtiouse.

All I can really say I suppose..

Why dont you post the error logs or some more informations about the db and the update files your using and in which order your trying to apply everything?

1. There was a lot of errors(multiple in seprate windows of SQLyog)was impossible for me to paste all of them.

2. The server logs are telling me to update

dunno what you are talking about, but I get one error for the first line that causes an error, and then the script breaks.. (if I use a corrupt SQL file)

I do: mysql -u<MyUserName> -p<MyPass> <DatabaseName> < <ScriptFile>.sql
