SQL updates

[1 ms] SQL: SET CHARACTER SET `utf8`

So I went to the updates directory, and I have well over a 1000 updates to install, is there any quick way to do this?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Once again, using this guide. It said something about updates, but I don't understand what to do.

Where you see 1000 sql updates. sql updates included not in each revision so its not so many.
