Add a patch

Is it possible to add a patch to mangos without using TortoiseSVN or Git Bash.?

There are several programs that can do it. Why don't you want to use TortoiseSVN or Git?

Its not that i dont want to use them, its just that i havent quite figured out how to do it with either of them..

But if someone can explain how to do with Git, ill be most grateful.?

Use the following inside of your repo:

git am patchname.patch

Should do it. It could also be git-am instead of git am.

Sry i dont get it.. Im not too with Git..

Im in the Git Gui of my "mangos source code" folder, what do i press.?

For patching I just place the patch in the folder I want it to patch then use right click on the folder I want to have my patch in and press "Get Bash Here" and type

git apply NAMEOFPATCH.AND EXTENTION

and your done.. easy as that . But the patch file has to be in the folder you want it to be patched
