Custum item/question

Hi everybody,

First, please forgive me for all the mistakes I'll make in my topic: I'm french ^^

I don't know if I'm writting in the wrong section...If I am...forgive me for that too:)

So, let me introduce you my little request:I'm making a RP server and I created about 30 custom PVE weapon that will be looted from a custom Boss, the thing is that I'd like the players not to use those weapon in BG because I'm going to create others weapon for PVP.

So my questions are:

Is there a way to forbid (in the db) the use of the pve items on BGs?

Is there a way to allow the other weapon only on BG?

Right now, no. You would have to modify the server. Try searching around for the part that checks if players can use items.

Thanks Patman128 for the answer,but there's something... there's a field in the "item_template" named "AREA" do you know what's the function of this field?

Edit: Ok, I think i've found, i'll use the systeme of this weapon http://www.wowhead.com/item=30311/warp-slicer
