I have been using mangos for some time. I am building the server on a linux box and am having a problem. The server compiled and installed with no problem. I used the ad.exe from contrib and placed the dbc, vmaps, and maps folders in a data folder in the bin folder. When I run mangosd I get the following output:

raven@kellys:/opt/mangos/bin$ ./mangosd
MaNGOS/ (* * Revision 11558 - *) for Linux_x32 (little-endian) [world-daemon]
<Ctrl-C> to stop.

Correct *.map files not found in path 'data/maps' or *.vmtree/*.vmtile files in 'data/vmaps'. Please place *.map and vmap files in appropriate directories or correct the DataDir value in the mangosd.conf file.

Map 0004331 is in the map folder and the folder is readable. I extracted the maps from client version 3.3.5a build 12340. I got the source for the server from the top level of the git.

It must be in directory that current when you execute mangosd.

Example: you have /opt/mangos/AAA and /opt/mangos/BBB and have mangosd in AAA

and from BBB execute mangosd as /opt/mangos/AAA/mangosd, then you must have data subdir in AAA

Another way set correct path in DataDir option in mangosd.conf.
