how much players i can hold in linux with 1GB Ram , Intel Dual Core 2.0GHZ E1280 Processor , 512 MB Video and 100mbps Connection ? thanks

100mb/s connection? Your either on a lan or have a lot of money.

he said 100mbps wich is megabit not megabyte. and i dont think 1gb ram will last so long.

1gb RAM for MaNGOS server is more than enough for a dozen of players.

With 1GB of RAM your probably looking at around 20 players with green to yellow lat. 30 or above would probably result in red lat most of the time.

Hmm, I handled 80users with 1GB ram, vmaps on, green lat.

You should get more RAM... with this configuration I would say about 50-60 players normally.

im tested

linux ubuntu x64 intel celeron 1.200mhz 1gbram 5gb swap 100mb lan internet tested on 120testers online.. + web,foro 1word mangos ping 80ms... cpu use ( not remember )

linux ubuntu x64 intel celeron core duo 2.200mhz 2gbram 10gb swap 100mb lan internet tested on 50 testers online..:mad: + web,foro 2word mangos ping 80ms... cpu use 6% 7%

linux + fine configs = good server latency

I would say about 100 players (max)

try to avoid these kind of questions...it depends on too much things..(OS,CPU,MaNGOS rev, amount of players.....)
