[Bug] Emote text radius

The problem is that the EmoteText from scripts side are not sent to chat if the target is 50 yards far away from the boss...

For example:

Get the buru patch from sd2 forum and go with your char at the farest egg from buru... u will see that he will start chasing u but no emotetext...

Now, go to middle eggs or those who are closer and u will see that buru will say his text emote if u are closer.

yes - you are indeed right that we don't do this very well.

We have some instance-wide yells, but more likely we should just use the npc-rank as multiplier for the range

Actually the yell range depends on the grid system which its by default 120 yards in the instances as defined in the config file by Visibility.Distance.Instances = 120. The thing is on retail the yell range is about 300yards as written on http://www.wowwiki.com/Chat - atleast for players that is...
