[Bug][Fixed]NPC Language

I use Mangoszero (Smart Ass Network Repack from http://smartassnetwork.com/wow-classic.html) version 1.12.1 and I am stuck at a little bug.

There is an NPC called Scarlet Convert. http://www.wowhead.com/npc=1506/scarlet-convert

It should speak in Common, not Orcish or Gutterspeak so Undeads can understand.

I found what they are supposed to say (wowhead.com):

kyonoke on 2010/02/11 (Patch 3.3.2) They say the following: You carry the taint of the scourge. Prepare to enter the twisting nether. Edit: They can also say: The Scalet Crusade shall smite the wicked and drive evil from these lands! Edit2: It seems they also say this: There is no escape for you. The Crusade shall destroy all who carry the scourge's taint.

And I started searching in the Database and found this:

So I started digging in the language codes and found this:

Code:

0 = Universal

1 = Orcish

2 = Darnassian

3 = Tauron

6 = Dwarfs

7 = Common

8 = Demonic

9 = Titans

13 = Gnomish

14 = Troll language

33 = Gutterspeak

35 = Draenei

All seems to be ok, but what I'm missing? Where should I search for more info?

I actually did it. With some help from a Forum's member PM (credits go to: Othman Arnaout <[email protected]>).

I will tell you how i did it.

First of all, I was looking in the wrong place... It was not a problem of Language, but a problem of Faction.

All you have to do is to look in the PhpMyAdmin, at database in zp_world (119) and search for your NPC Name like in the picture:

I searched for Scarlet Convert. http://www.wowhead.com/npc=1506/scarlet-convert

After that, I changed the values on columns Faction A and Faction H from the initial value 67 to 26 (This value I took from looking at an aliance common speaking NPC Kobold http://www.wowhead.com/npc=40 ).

And here is the result:

And I also did the same thing for Meven Korgal http://www.wowhead.com/npc=1667/meven-korgal
