First to kick off - Sockets

Question

Hello everyone!

I'm really glad the mangos community is back, I've been stuck with several questions while the forums were offline.

I'm running a small test server at home for my own use on debian and I would like to reduce the max allowed socket connections.

It's seems by default this one is on 1024 on linux and even 4096 on windows systems.

The werid thing is that you can alter the sockets for windows, but I can't find were the max allowed sockets are configured for linux.

Any help is welcome.

In case of a small setup you really do not neet to care for the maximum connection settings :) But if you want to run a server with a large amount of users you surely will need to finetune these settings, since by default the Linux kernel handles connection limits rather conservative.
