A general thought about creature movement

Hello all,

I've been wondering something for a very long time but never really knew if it was possible with the current mangos code.

When you aggro a lot of creatures on retail, the creatures will spread out in a circle when they reach you.

On mangos, they all stay in the same spot, which can be pretty annoying sometimes.

I always thought it would increase the blizzlike feeling if something like this was possible.

Perhaps any hints where to start looking, if possible.

Actually the ObjectPosSelector should do such a thing already..

That code has a few weaknesses, but basicly I think it already does what it is supposed to do

I've tested it with Zero, perhaps it's only broken in this branch then.

mangos-zero has a long list of outstanding backports and fixes, which we just got started working on.

It's can be disabled in config by default for performance reason.
