Banning Accounts

According to the help in the console, if you set the unban value to a negative, it is a permanent ban. However, if I do a -1 or -1d (which is the proper format here? Either?), it sets the same time as the ban time. I'm assuming MaNGOS does a comparison with the ban time and unban time, and if they're the same, that is a perm ban? Is this correct?
