This is probly an easy one; but im stuck here nonetheless :x Moved all the Mangos/Sourcefiles/Bin/Release folder into my vanilla install directory (made sure the 4 dlls were there as well) - and I get the error "cannot create the output file /maps/XXXXX" (repeating for each object) when I run 'map-extractor.exe':mad::mad::mad:

Fortunately for me; I found that my problems were merely an "access privileges" problem - I only had read/write; not full control on the vanilla install directory- and I only found this to be a problem when attempted to do "md vmaps" and got access denied in cmd....

::mad::::mad::::mad::::mad:: Of course; this was all after I had first made the vmaps folder manually by right clicking in the vanilla install directory and adding a folder "vmaps" (M$ lets you do that; just not use cmd to do it...) - then i tried to inline the output directory in assembly- yet running it thru my debugger managed to work perfectly (due to its lower level privs i would eventually find out)

moral of the story is have ultimate privs before assuming any error output is valid
