visual studio

hi all i have installed vs 2008 and i only get vc71

i am running vista and updated my computer

i had have it running with vc80 but after reinstalled pc

i only get vc 71

what can i do

Then you've upgraded your PC and reinstalled winDooMs

But now you can't run VC2k8 on it ???

Am I right?
