  3. spell_disable requires external patch which I currently don't have. However I did delete the spell from players and trainers lets see what happens.

  5. This crash still accurs to me every ~3-5 hours after which the server freezes.
  6. I can't confirm stafall causing server to crash. Maybe provide like talents you use or forms...
  7. I can't reproduce the crash however I can confirm the Libram of the Sacred shield is messed up once you have holy shield on and Seal of Command and than use Seal of Light every time you do a melee swing the Libram of the Sacred Shield refreshes.

  11. Hmm it doesn't seem to restart it. Opens mangos fine and realmd fine but than doesn't do anything after the restart time passes. I tried both shutting down and restart function and saving it through GUI. My configs: [main] hours=00 minutes=01 seconds=00 ; PATH TO YOU MANGOSD.EXE and REALMD.EXE mangosd = mangosd.exe mangosd = realmd.exe
  12. Shadez will this restarter restart mangos if it just crashes? Or only after the time passes?
  13. I was wondering if anyone has a script for time restarter for windows. What I mean is an ability to set the restart time, and than MaNGOS would restart once the time expires. I am not sure if this possible but hey if anyone knows anything about this please post below

  15. How can you make a mistake in spelling save? To: Wowka321 Great patch I applied it manually and seems to work well from few test. I noticed that when you have the enchant and you unlearn the skill the bonus will stay until you relog. Not sure if that is how it's intended might be something you need to take a look at.

  18. I do understand that mangos stands for quality and not quantaty. However the main goal of this topic was maybe to encourage some ideas about smaller patches, that fix single spell etc. That is why I posted a suggestion on how we could do it
  19. It seems that I might of not expressed myself well enough. My main concern about the patches that are confirmed to be done in the right way and work correctly, but are still not applied and eventually lost. On other note thanks for all your great replys. I was wondering maybe there should be few tutorials how to write a correct patch and not work around. I am sure that many users would appriciate it.
  20. Recently there has been many great patches made by users, however it seems like no one is willing to apply them to main branch. I understand that developers want to have patches tested and make sure that they don't cause any kind of mistakes. I also understand have their own worries/problems and maybe don't have time to view forums, etc. However there are way too many patches that were tested by many users and confirmed that they are working as intended. After all with lack attention they just fade away. So what I am trying to say please look at other peoples work that they spend time on, trying to make MaNGOS better. Lets remember that the strongest thing about Open Source is the Community input. Yes you may say well what is this guy talking about he hasn't posted any patches, and doesn't even have over 10 posts. You are right I am not a C++ specialist like many of you are, and I only recently created this profile, yet reading Patches section showed me that many users been trying to say the same thing I did above. At the end of the day I am just another user trying to be heard out. Suggestions: Since allot of developers are busy with their problems. Maybe hire few people who would be, only responsible for finding correct patches and testing them. They can than move them along to developers who can confirm it and apply to the respected branches.   21. Thanks, hunuza disabling that option seemed to increase the uptime. I was wondering if you know the solution for this freezing? After the messages display on the console the server will not respond, and no clients will be able to connect.

  23. Allot of you seem to get amazing uptime and I was wondering if you guys can post what OS, proccessor and other good stuff you guys using. On windows 2008 we bearly get 2-3 hours before mangos starts to loop. (60-100 players)
