  1. fixed, just apply all sql updates to mangos db AFTER 9704_01_mangos_achievement_award.sql my latest core is now running happily
  2. got exact same problem with new core compiled this evening. errors on applying of that update too.
  3. i can confirm the problem where items are not showing in either stormwind or orgrimmar ah even when mangos says its loaded up the items does indeed exist on latest mangos
  4. Hi, So, after 8 months gone i have decided to come back to Mangos. What is the state of the project? What major bugs have been resolved in the last year? i hope that annoying npc bug where they rise into the air on interact is gone, spent many hours looking at the code for a solution on that one. looking at the bug fix list, seems the vast majority of talents are working great, not sure about the phasing, especially in Northrend.

Go on then, out of all the current problems with our beloved Mangos, which bug (only one each mind), would you like to see solved the most? and instead of just moaning about the bug, maybe put some ideas down of how you think it could/should be solved. These are current bugs from the latest revision mind. Mangos bugs only! No DB or scripting! Ill kick things off Bug NPC height references- various non agressive npc on interaction/chat/trading will re-reference their height to map and player and then change accordingly. This in turn makes them have a gap between the ground and the floor making them look like they are levitating like a priest. A good example of this is to chat to the boy in Lakeshire who gives you a quest to retrieve something from the bottom of the lake. Possible Solution Me and a few others have been racking our brains on this one, its obvious that the NPC is not referencing the correct ground height and sticking to it, the only solution we can come up with is deleting the npc from the DB and then re-making them corrects the issue, obviously doing this for every npc doing the problem is one hell of a time consuming task. Difficult to tell if it is a DB bug though as the entries in the DB look correct.
  7. i assume this will sort out alot of the strange npc pathfinding behaviour like walking through walls (even with vmaps on) and so forth? what an awesome addition this would be

  9. Hi, Is there anyway to modify the wow to use the classic wow logon screen rather than TBC login screen? I like the classic logon screen better.
  10. i know, hence why in my thread elsewhere is that alot of people have no idea just what is needed to get 3.0.3 working even in a skeleton fashion. i personally will be amazed if 3.0.3 is out before Christmas........and depressingly.......3.0.4 will be out by then on offy.
  11. so am i right in thinking you will be going for patch 3.0.3 support without Northrend be accessable? or are you going for the full caboodle wotlk so when mangos supports patch 3.0.3 and we have udb that supports it too we can access the expansion content? keep up the good work guys!

  14. agreed, going to patch 3.0.2 is going to be a huge task. i personally would wait until WOTLK is out proper before mangos moves up another client support version.
