  5. well I understood it from the beggining... I tested, and the result is this: - mob doesn't get back to his original position if u don't attack him ONLY after u aggro and evade from combat he will leave back to his original place, otherwise as I said before, he will just stand there. also we don't need if (Unit* caster = GetCaster()) in the code..it works the same without this part
  6. well with this patch they react as u pointed unklenuke .. the only thing that I don't remember is the flying back... I will try to get my hand on my computer and test it...
  7. blueboy can u implement some configs in mangos.conf... for example 1. to have a config through witch u can allow 0(players),1(GM rank 1+) to summon the bot from any account - limit in this way a user to use someone else bot, or to be more specific to use a bot from a different account than his account 2. create a table with permssions similary to account table, in which u can set witch account can use playerbot Thank you
  8. 1. they are not stunned , and they should not be stunned. They fall from the sky and get rooted... 2. When the net wears of they fly back to the original position. But if u aggro them while they are down, they will get in combat and start fighting. I don't remember very well if they fly back to the original height after net expires... I can't really test for the moment but if anyone can pls feel free and report back this little info.

  15. well mana is not a problem for frost mage.... mana shield doesn't help him at all nor mage armor...which we can say that it might give him some resistances...only on arcane as u pointed UnkleNuke... but it needs to be used with extreme caution cause mana shield use a lot of mana, 2 much mana for wotlk expansion I can say and u will notice that u are oom maybe 2 late in the battle. this is a different discussion... cause mage must get use of his mana gem, also potions to help him a lot.... in general all mages don't use mage armor at all.... based on their arcane rotaion they will probably use evocation one time but that it...boss will be down for sure... that is why mages wish more crit and so use molten armor. And as I will point it a little forward in my reply... with high end gear mages won't get oom. -- And yes evocation must be used in arcane mage rotation when mage is 40% mana left. if mookjin, dunno somehow make the mage somehow(I repeat) to think for himself... I mean mage should check his gear and based on it use molten or mage armor... I really can't think at this moment a logic way to do this. mookjin I forget to tell u about evocation.... make the mage to check his mana and use it when he is low... now u can look this problem from 2 points... one is the added above when mage get almost oom he must use evocation... and point will be to use it at 40% mana left, as we know evocation fills mage up with 60% of his mana, fact that will get him to full mana. I personally don't use second point, as it smash your dps for a few seconds... and in wotlk especially at high gear mana is really not a problem at all. When ooc mage must drink and eat, in combat in my point of view is to use evocation when he is almost oom... in general all bosses from icc for example will die before mage will get oom... but a check and cast for that spell is needed.

  17. about this part // all non combat actions go here, ex buffs, heals, rezzes void DoNonCombatActions(); I suggest to make him cast arcane intellect when ooc, molten armor it's used in every spec, and dampen magic or amplify magic depend on target.... cast amplify on tanks it's a fact and dampen on the rest... one more thing ... one of the glyphs that a frost mage is using is glyph of eternal water... he must have his water elemental water allways on and target what mage target he must cast his pet back whenever the cd is ready... I mean he must not use the cold snap to cast water elemental back... he must only check if the elemental cd is ready
  18. mookjin I saw the red line about the frost mage pve rotation... well here it is 1. Frostbolt spam (until finger of frost procs) - continue with one more frostbolt and follow it with deepfreeze - cast frostbolt and follow it with Ice Lance 2. If u have deepfreeze cd - Frostbolt spam (until finger of frost procs) - cast frostbolt and follow it with Ice Lance 2x 3. It is good to use a burst moment what the mage call it - cast Icy Veins at the beggining of the fight - recast it whenever it is ready Human things: - Think about Cold Snap - it can give u an other icy veins fact that would double your haste time - some mages use it after first icy veins (which is good cause the fight won't take u longer than 5 min only in special cases) I suggest to make the mage use cold snap when his icy veins runs out and cast icy veins again.. and check if cold snap cd has finish and make that move again ONLY after he has use an icy veins .. Cause maybe cold snap will end his cd before icy veins, than it is good for mage to use cold snap ONLY after he use icy veins Also Mirror immage is the same with icy veins ... use it in the same time with icy veins at the beggining of the fight or whenever the cd is ready if u need rotation for FF mage arcane mage ... paladin prot/ret/holy let me know... I also can help u with warlock, hunter, warrior, priest ... about the rest clasees that I didn't enum i have an idea about them and can research for ya if u wanna.. Respect

  20. Yes we do!! So speak for yourself please So, what's keeping you to get started then?. 'We must do something' is the unanimous refrain. 'You begin' is the deadening refrain. maybe u are one of those who cares about how code is implemented... I care 2... I don't use tc at all... But in others minds it's better to have something than nothing... For example mangos clean with sd2 clean.... it's playable in a decent way only for the pretbc and tbc content...the e wotlk sucks. What is keeping me to get started? Well my friend I can start a private repo anytime or maybe I have one... the point is not in that if u are able to understand.. the main idea of my post is about the main repo only... It's a shame to see public repos like mangosr2 having so many devs and so much work done ahead of master repo of mangosproject itself... How that happend? for the same reason tc appeared... to strict in "that is not mangos way" and this project got to the point of "there will be no way" ... And yes that is the 'We must do something' in mangosr2 or tc case...they did... something better... Mangos didn't lost its developers only, but the interest 2 for many ppl that could help this project a lot... And no.. I don't blame anyone specific... just the project... it needs to be more flexible... That is the way real life goes 2...be flexible and win or strict and lose.... the correct word is 'adapt' ... and this is what mangos should do in my opinion... I hope I am not disrespectful in any of my affirmation if I am pls forgive me... The last thing I want to add is this: No matter how mangos will go... I will stick with it until the end... and in my eyes Schomoozed is the head leader of this project... If he say that this project must go this way than I will obey it. to be more clear 'THIS IS MY OPINION'... who doesn't like it it's his problem.. my 2 cents... Respect
  21. ok so far with the talk... Schomooze can u tell us pls which patch do u look forward to start implementing it this year? I am sure that u wish to acomplish a milestone this year and implement as much as possible. Now that our friend kid10 started vehicles, Xfurry promised that when he will have time he will continue his work to world pvp system... and I suggest to contact cyberium to check the state of the patch and why not if he plans to finish it that would be awesome for us. Oh, and don't forget mmaps. If core changes to much it would be bad to wait for someone to update it.... we might lose all that great work... Ppl... let's not repeat the past mistakes with great patches under review section for years! Let's start with a fresh new mentality... And yes, if mangos want more developers and ppl interested in this project I suggest to implement as much as possible new things as we know many ppl choose TC because they have a lot of features implemented. Ppl don't care if those features are implemented in hack way or workaround... And why not, mangos devs need peace with rsa(aka sart13) and his followers, and start together filling this master up... why not make them devs also and start working together... I guess many of us are just bored to see only Schomoozed and Xfurry, Stfx and sometimes SilverIce to work on something... If Vladimir, Neo,NTSC, and all other quited it's their decision... We need fresh minds... fresh ideas... fresh developers... and in my vision by seeing how mangosr2 team working as u guys work, there is only one option.. unite... Create 2 master branches..one with mangos coding style and one with custom stuff... we need to be flexible... More can be said, but the main idea was said. Respect and pls start working together. Think of SDB in past when it was merged... when it merged it boosted the db potential a lot... both teams devs... there war frequent updates and the db advanced very fast in power.
  22. cyberium easy there my friend.... I don't know what's the deal between u and devs...but as u pointed out... MaNGOS is the project that unite us...keep that in mind... I replied to your thread to see that u are not alone in here... We are counting on you... and like me...there are hundreds of ppl out there clicking this thread everyday to see an update and if there is none, wait in patience until cyberium offers them a little smile on their faces.... as unclenuke said...u don't just achive of implementing a feature, u also strive in ppl's heart with great joy and that my friend is what makes a good coder different from a casual one. Ty for all your work and get your but on that chair and write for us all for mangos that patch. We are here so the project is not dead until none of us will stand. I am looking to wait with unlimited pleasure for your patch... Respect
